Job Summary: 

The Family Physician Assistant's primary responsibility is to provide first-quality clinical care in Target store-based clinic setting. The Family PA-C will work in close cooperation with a collaborating physician and Regional Operations Manager.

Position Requirements: 
The Family PA-C is required to independently care for ill and injured patients. The following represent some, but not all, of the specific clinical skills that are required: 

History taking; physical examination; performance and interpretation of basic point-of-care laboratory tests, e.g., rapid strep screen or urine pregnancy test

Required Current Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: 

Post-graduate experience is preferred, but is not required; Licensure in the state of practice; DEA certification; American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (or an acceptable equivalent); Certification by NCCPA is required.

The following are required, but may be acquired after hire by mutually agreed schedule: 
ACLS & PALS (or equivalent). New graduates will be considered.

Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, highly motivated and work well in a team environment.  New graduates with orthopaedic rotations are welcome to apply!  This group will consider an experienced PA from any surgical area. Sioux Falls location has a population of 100k, and with the surrounding counties the area is 150k.  It has universities, local airport, excellent schools and low cost of living.

The hours for the position are Mon-Fri 8 am – 5 pm -- No Nights or Weekends!

This position is looking for a Physician Assistant to work with a private orthopedic practice. Candidates must be able to first assist with knee and shoulder surgery, pre-op, post-op, treat, and prescribe medications. The position is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This position does offer relocation. 

Job Requirements: Candidates must be a certified PA, with at least a month of experience as a PA-C. Orthopedic experience is a major advantage.
