Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant.  The new PA will work directly with a General Orthopaedic Surgeon.  The group has physical therapy on-site.  The PA would run their own orthopaedic clinic.  The new PA would see up to 30 to 40 patients per day.  The new candidate needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running!  This PA must be able to work with minimal physician supervision.  This position is clinic based with minimal or no surgery.  The position is a 40 hour work week.

. Responsibilities include:  H&P's, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, review lab results, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, casting and splinting within a clinic setting.  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.  None or very minimal evenings or weekends.  Previous orthopaedic PA experience required!  Preference for candidates that have ties to the area!  The location is in a beautiful area that is in an upscale suburb of Phoenix.  The new PA can enjoy year round outdoor living, solid schools and all the amenities of a great city.

Seeking 1, possibly 2, Surgical Physician Assistants to work providing surgical first assist for our Medical Associates (www.maclinton.com) surgeons.  Surgical experience is ideal, however we are willing to train the right candidate.   Surgeries include general, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, gastroenterology, and podiatry.  Call for the position will be 1:2, (1:3 if second new PA is added).  Position available is a replacement for one of our two existing PAs who is leaving for the military.  Second position is expansion.
