Working in a collaborative model with a physician, the PA will provide care across settings thereby enhancing continuity for the patients, families, and staff. Specifically, the selected candidate will assess, diagnose, prescribe therapies, and manage the breast cancer patient's physiological and psychological response to the diagnosis, treatment, and survival with cancer. Requires 2 years prior PA experience, current Pennsylvania PA certification, and graduation from an approved accredited PA program as well as BCLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities include: patient evaluations, H&P's, surgical first assist, removing casts and pins, treat simple fractures, rounding, injections, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.  Also, call is three to four days per month and is paid!  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.  Previous orthopaedic experience required.  The group will train a recent graduate.  Great metro area that is 40 minutes to the Charleston area and two and one half hours to Cincinnati.  This location is a very low cost of living area, there are several colleges and you can enjoy beautiful lakes and mountains.  This is a great area for someone who loves the outdoors.
