We have extraordinary opportunities available for full-time and per diem PAs as we expand to 24/7 floor & stepdown unit coverage of our adult cardiac surgery service.  Cardiac surgery or cardiology experience preferred. Though helpful, there is no requirement for previous surgical experience.  New graduates will be considered & are encouraged to apply.

Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program from a recognized college or university and have current New York State Physician's Assistant license.

We are looking at two possibilities: (1) A regular position M-F with hours of 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (2) An on-call position covering the same evening hours. Immediate opening in an innovative new Orthopaedic Walk-In Clinic in Winter Park, Florida (Orlando area). 

This is a dream job, for the right person.  The Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic has opened up this Orthopaedic Convenient Care Center which employs three PA´s and are recruiting a fourth PA. The Jewett Clinic is nearly 70 years old and is very well established in Central Florida. This position requires at least three years of office-based orthopaedic experience, and the ability to work independently. 

The typical day would include the evaluation and treatment of a variety of orthopaedic conditions and injuries including fractures, minor lacerations and soft tissue sprains and strains.  Must be able to diagnose, perform interventions as needed, and guide the patient through treatment over the course of several visits.  There is excellent onsite physician backup, and excellent support staff.  Digital x-ray and MRI on site.  The typical work week is approximately forty hours a week with an afternoon off per week. There is potential for a four-day work week as we expand our hours. 

NO CALL and NO HOSPITAL DUTIES !  There is a bonus system in addition to a very competitive salary.  We offer a relocation allowance.  The benefit package is quite comprehensive including a 401K package, profit sharing, life insurance policy, malpractice insurance, licensing, national and specialty dues, CME allowance, and health insurance.
