Immediate opening in an innovative new Orthopaedic Walk-In Clinic in Winter Park, Florida (Orlando area). 

This is a dream job, for the right person.  The Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic has opened up this Orthopaedic Convenient Care Center which employs three PA´s and are recruiting a fourth PA. The Jewett Clinic is nearly 70 years old and is very well established in Central Florida. This position requires at least three years of office-based orthopaedic experience, and the ability to work independently. 

The typical day would include the evaluation and treatment of a variety of orthopaedic conditions and injuries including fractures, minor lacerations and soft tissue sprains and strains.  Must be able to diagnose, perform interventions as needed, and guide the patient through treatment over the course of several visits.  There is excellent onsite physician backup, and excellent support staff.  Digital x-ray and MRI on site.  The typical work week is approximately forty hours a week with an afternoon off per week. There is potential for a four-day work week as we expand our hours. 

NO CALL and NO HOSPITAL DUTIES !  There is a bonus system in addition to a very competitive salary.  We offer a relocation allowance.  The benefit package is quite comprehensive including a 401K package, profit sharing, life insurance policy, malpractice insurance, licensing, national and specialty dues, CME allowance, and health insurance.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Physician Assistant Studies is accepting applications for an entry level faculty position at its Laredo Campus Extension in Laredo, Texas.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expansion of our physician assistant program to a distant site.  Responsibilities include teaching, service, scholarly activity, and coordinating student activities on the Laredo Campus Extension and in the mid Texas-Mexico border area.  This faculty member will represent the Department, School, and University in the mid Rio Grande border area.  Participation in our practice plan is possible.

ECI staff the emergency department of Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.  SFH ED has 65,000 patient visits per year.  In addition the group owns three urgent care centers.  PAs rotate through urgent care centers and ED of hospital.

New graduates start at $35 per hour with many various shift differentials.  New grads working 40 to 45 hours per week, rotating through the various shifts will earn close to $80,000 per year with a full benefit package.    Experienced PAs earn in excess of $100,000 per year with a full benefit package.  Relocation allowance available.
