Job Description  Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. Prefer candidate with a minimum of 6 months Orthopaedic PA experience. Also, will consider other types of surgical PA’s experience. JOB SUMMARY:   Assist physician and perform when qualified and instructed to do so: patient procedures and treatments (ie. Botox, dermal fillers, laser hair removal), consultations, charting and pertinent administrative paperwork.  This is a "team" atmosphere where everyone helps out each other.  You will be expected to answers phones, schedule appointments, assist with basic office operations, do laundry, and keep exam room and office neat and orderly.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Masters in Physician Assistant studies- licensed in the state of Florida

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
. At least one full year experience in a PA position.
. Comfortable using e-mail, internet applications, Word programs- basic computer knowledge.
. Ability to perform multiple diverse tasks simultaneously.
. Proven experience handling troublesome patients and dealing with conflict.
. Always punctual, if not 15 minutes early, before you are scheduled.
. Pleasant personality, able to patiently and thoroughly answer patient questions and ease patient concerns.
. Have a complete knowledge of all the procedures/ treatments/surgeries that are performed-including recovery time, operating time, expected results, who is a candidate.
. Track inventory for medical supplies and place orders.
. Neat, professional appearance.
. Practice clear and continuous communication with the doctor on all patients everyday, as well as what is pertinent for the office staff to be aware of.

Responsibilities include, but are limited to the following:
. Assist Dr. Salzhauer with any treatments or procedures as needed.
. Perform Botox injections.
. Inject dermal fillers.
. Perform Laser Hair Removal.
. Assist and perform wound care.
. Track inventory and place orders.
. Chart notes on every patient you see by the end of that work day.
. Perform/ assist with patient consultations.
. Create and give quotes to patients.
. Take payments for services.
. Schedule follow-up appointments.
. Make follow-up phone calls.
. Clean and sterilize equipment.
. Attend and put on seminars as required by Dr. Salzhauer.

Halifax Medical Services offers a position in a new Rural Health Clinic, on the Wilson/Edgecombe County line, in the town of Sharpsburg, North Carolina
The clinic is expected to open in late April or early May. This will be a federally designated Rural Health Clinic. This will be the town's only clinic.
The position is suitable for an experienced provider but a new graduate will be considered.  A physician supervisor will be on-site one full day a week.
The majority of patients are Medicare and Medicaid in a federally designated underserved area. Once the clinic is fully operational it is expected to offer services to an average of 20 to 25 patients per day. This is a salaried position based on experience and success in attracting new patients. 

The starting salary is in the range of $50,000 to $60,000 and will increase as the daily patient census goes up. Once the daily census reaches 20 – 25 patients, the provider is expected to be paid $70,000 to $80,000. This is the projected census withing 3 months. Contact: John H.
