Job Description Orthopaedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant.  This position is all first assist.  The new PA will work with Orthopaedic Surgeons in a high volume and multi-specialty setting.  Cases include total joints, shoulder, knees and some trauma.  Also, the PA will be responsible for some post and pre-operative care, H&P's, casting, writing prescriptions and managing records.  Call is minimal.  The new PA's work hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (four days per week) and a half a day. 

Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, highly motivated and have a positive personality.  New graduates with extra surgical rotations or surgical preceptership are welcome to apply!  The group will consider an experienced PA from any surgical area.  Ideal candidate has a minimum of two years surgical experience.

Job Description The new PA will assist in running an Occupational Medical and Workers Compensation Clinic.  The new PA will 1) handle on the job injuries (wound care, muscular skeletal problems, etc.)  2) perform employment physicals 3) drug screens 4) medical history and physical data on patients 5) determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedure 6) order lab and diagnostic procedure and determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan 7) liaise with corporate clients 8) instruct and advise patients regarding medications and treatment 9) refer to appropriate specialists 10) provide all appropriate documentation.  There will be one weekend a month of rounds.

Preferred candidate should have some experience in any of the following areas: Occupational Medicine Urgent Care, Primary Care, Emergency Room and Internal Medicine.  This group will train a new PA!  The PA needs to be an independent thinker, self-confident; works well in a fast-paced environment and has excellent interpersonal skills.  This position is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Candidates must have Florida license or have submitted all paperwork!

The location is within 40 minutes to Orlando.  The area provides great quality of life, reasonable cost of living, easy access to the ocean and a solid educational system.

My medical practice needs experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to help in busy Pain Management Center in Morristown, TN. 

We presently have 12 full time employees and the clinic has been established for six years. We are rapidly growing. I need a competent, caring individual with a license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in the State of Tennessee. 

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a good work ethic and enjoys challenging patients and enjoys learning. Candidate must have valid DEA number because we prescribe controlled substances in our clinic. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until about 6:00 p.m. or earlier. There will not be any evening or weekend work. 

The practice is busy and I need someone who is hardworking and industrious. I am the medical director of the clinic and am a board certified Anesthesiologist with 17 years of clinical pain management experience. My practice at present is devoted solely to pain management. I enjoy teaching and will spend time to train the right candidate in pain management theory and practice. This will include teaching how to do injections such as trigger point injections and joint injections (such as elbow, knee, and sacroiliac and others). 

We do our own x-rays on all new patients and I will teach interpretation to the practitioner. All office visits are dictated. The office is fully staffed with a competent RN, LPNs, and medical assistants.  The staff gets along well and many have been with me a number of years. You will be working with another nurse practitioner and  that is already part of the practice. 

Depending on experience and ability, the starting salary will be between $60,000 to $75,000 per year. After three months of work I will provide employee's health insurance. We have 401 k retirement account. Insurance for family members also available. The first year of employment will include one week paid vacation and six paid Holidays including Christmas, New Year, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Thanksgiving. 

Raises will be according to employee's value to the practice and performance. The practice is financially successful and stable. For right candidate I will help in moving expenses if needed. Morristown is a town of about 25,000 people with good schools and recreation. There is large and beautiful lake in Morristown. Housing is a good value. Morristown is steadily growing and is the hub of a service area of about 80,000 people. Knoxville is about 45 minutes away. Johnson City and Bristol are about 70 minutes away.

Chester County Orthopaedic Associates, LTD has five busy orthopedic surgeons and one PA. Located in the suburban town of West Chester, PA.  We are seeking to fill a full time position Monday to Friday (approx 45 hours/week); light call. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: First Assistant; provides post operative care; H & P; consults; makes hospital patient visits (rounds) and ER coverage. Sees patients in a clinic setting, performing routine orthopedic assessments and treatments.
