The position consists of one to two days in the OR and the balance in the Clinic. This PA will work directly with and support a Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This Doctor performs minimally invasive total knee replacements, as well as the latest techniques in hip replacements. Responsibilities include: patient evaluations and education, removing casts and pins, consultation, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts, rounds, injections and first assists. The new PA will run their own clinic. Call coverage is minimal. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. The group will train a new graduate! Candidates must have ties to the Florida area and have a Florida license or have started the Florida licensing process. The new PA will be employed in a large health care institution and will have a very strong benefits package. The position is located in an upscale community in the Jacksonville area of Florida. Description: Private emergency medicine group consisting of 13 doctors and 6 physician assistants seeks 1-2 new physician assistants for full time work in a busy emergency department. Fairfield Medical Center is located approximately 25 miles southeast of Columbus, Ohio and has an annual ED volume of 55,000 patients. Duties include evaluation and treatment of patients in and emergency department setting with full physician oversight. Strong procedural skills are a must.
