Job Description Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks
to add a full-time Physician Assistant. Work directly with a General Orthopaedic
Surgeon. Procedures preformed include arthroscopic surgery, Total Joints
(large %), shoulder and knees and some athletic injury. Group has Physical
Therapy on-site. PA would run an Orthopaedic Clinic. The new PA would spend
up to two days per week in the OR performing first assist. New candidate
needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running!
Responsibilities includes: H&P’s, patient
evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist,
review lab results, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration,
casting and splinting within a clinic setting. Successful candidate should
be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast paced environment. Alternating
office call coverage and 1/6 weekend ER call. Previous Orthopaedic PA experience
required. The location is in a beautiful area of upscale suburb of Phoenix.
Prefer candidates that have ties to the Phoenix area. Enjoys year round
outdoor living, solid schools and all the amenities of a great city.
Compensation: Base Salary 70k to 100K + bonus.

Alliance The midlevel ensures the provision of comprehensive oncology care
in an outpatient setting by performing patient assessment, education and
intervention. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Clinical support for patient care:
Writes orders related to prescriptions, chemotherapy, fluids or supplemental
medication, transfusions, central lines and hospital admission. Ensures
test results are obtained and the physician is aware of the same. Recommends
therapeutic plan specific to diagnosis, primary chemotherapy and management
of acute symptoms related to disease or treatments. Provides documentation
to chart as needed. Consults with physician as needed.- Management of acute/long

provides patient education regarding side effects, treatment plans, disease
progression, prognosis and treatment options. Responds to questions regarding
oncology services provided and refers to physician when appropriate. Triages
patient/care giver communications as needed, including questions regarding
other, non-cancer-related medical treatment. Provides documentation to
chart as needed.
Requires: Bachelor of Science as a physician's assistant or master's
of nurse practitioner from an accredited college or university. State of
Wisconsin physician's assistant or nurse practitioner license. Physician's
assistant or nurse practitioner board certification within one year of
appointment, if not possessed at time of appointment. Must be credentialed
at each hospital the relevant physician(s) support at earliest opportunity
following appointment to the position. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
