The Nevins Group is conducting an exclusive search for a Physician Assistant for a position in a suburban region of Illinois. You will work primarily with two doctors for a well-regarded cancer care organization in Illinois.  We’ve just hired a Physician Assistant and are seeking one additional P.A. to join our staff. 

You will work in an outpatient setting, seeing patients on follow-up, doing H&Ps, and also sometimes treating patients at a satellite clinic. You will work approximately 43-45 hours per week. You will report to a very supportive and friendly supervisor, and you will be able to work at an organization that knows how to utilize mid-level providers effectively. 

We are seeking a Physician Assistant who has either outpatient oncology experience, or at least 4-5 years of internal medicine/family practice experience coupled with a very positive work history and job tenures of at least 2 ½ years on average.   We are unable to accept P.A. new grad applications. 

The base salary is a generous $80,000 to $85,000+ for P.A.s who have solid internal medicine/family practice experience, and up to $90,000 for P.A.s who have at least 5+ years of specialized hematology-oncology P.A. experience. We are also offering relocation assistance $$, and an annual bonus in the $7,000 range. The cost-of-living is comparatively low, and the location offers an abundance of suburban as well as rural living opportunities.  According to an online salary/cost-of-living calculator we consulted, an $85,000 base salary in this region would equate to a $150,275 base salary in Chicago.
