Orthopaedic Surgeon with Sports Fellowship seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. This Doctor handles an extensive number of shoulder and knee cases. The new PA will work with high school and college level athletes, as well as run a sports clinic. The position is split between office and surgical procedures. The experienced Ortho PA will have their own patient base! The position consists of patient evaluations, surgical first assist, fracture reductions, casting and splinting, injections, rounding, writing scripts and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Call is 1/6. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/, hard working, and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Previous orthopaedic/surgical experience preferred! The Doctor will consider PA's that have surgical skills such as a Surgical Tech or as a PA in other surgical areas. This beautiful location is perfect for the outdoor lover.
