PA Job Description: Busy orthopaedic practice seeking a Physician Assistant to provide office and hospital care.  Full-time position with excellent salary and benefits; bonus program is included as part of compensation.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Office:   Pre-op history and physicals; initial patient assessments; in conjunction with physician, setting up plan of care; reviewing test results; educating patients; injections; follow-up fracture care; post-op visits.  Hospital:  First assist duties; hospital rounds; coordination of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Completion of a certified physician assistant program.  Current licensure or ability to be licensed in New York State.  DEA preferred.  Orthopaedic experience helpful, but not required.  Practice is willing to train.

The Nevins Group is just beginning to open-up a search to physician assistants for a desirable hematology-oncology mid-level provider position in Northern California.  This opportunity is open to experienced Oncology P.A.s and experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioners.  It’s also open to Nurse Practitioner new graduates who have at least 3-5 years of current or very recent experience working in an oncology department or for an oncologist. 

For this position, you will work dayshift hours, around 40-50 hours a week.  You will treat cancer care patients on follow-up visits, and/or triage/treat walk-in patients, see patients on chemo follow-up visits, and/or do hospital rounding.  You will also help case manage the care for patients and will therefore be on the phone quite a bit to coordinate various aspects of a patient’s care. 

THIS POSITION DOES NOT REQUIRE HOLIDAYS OR WEEKENDS.  There is also no hospital rounding and NO CALL.  The base salary begins at $90,000 and will pay you up to $111,000+.  A relocation package will also be provided, and you will be eligible for a full-benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, a retirement plan, paid-time-off, and more.

Job Description Multi-Specialty Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant.  The new PA will work directly with an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Neurologists.  The position consists of evaluation of muscular skeletal injuries, evaluating and ordering diagnostic tests (MRI, CT and X-Ray), joint aspirations and injections, some reductions and will run a parallel clinic.  There is a good volume of personal injury and workers compensation.  The work hours are 35 to 40 per week.  No call or weekends! 

Successful candidate is self-motivated, independent thinker, hard worker, confident and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  It would be a plus if the candidate has experience in any of the following areas: Athletic Trainer, PT, Nurse or Ortho PA.  The group would train a bright and energetic new graduate!  The new PA must have a Florida License or has applied for one.  Base Salary is $65k (trainee) to $95k (experienced), plus bonus potential.  The location is in the Ft. Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation (NMFF) is a multi-specialty medical group practice affiliated with Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Our expanding Hematology/Oncology practice requires additional support in our Outpatient Clinic.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, consultation and education to acute and chronically ill Oncology patients. The ideal candidate will perform medical histories, physical examinations, bone marrow biopsies and psychosocial assessments of patients, order appropriate follow-up tests and procedures, etc. The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with a physician and with multiple disciplines to provide quality management of patient and family needs. 

Requirements: Masters degree required from an approved nurse practitioner program as well as IL APN licensure, FNP certification is desired. Oncology experience is a plus.
