Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity in south-central Virginia. 

Located in Bracey, VA, near the shores of beautiful Lake Gaston, Tanglewood Family Medicine is now in its 18th year of serving the lake community.  Dr. Bailey, founder and sole-physician, has been employing 2 Advanced Practice Providers, one of whom is leaving in mid-December. This rural practice is fully self-contained with 9 exam rooms, a procedure room, X-ray, full lab, and limited pharmacy.  The closest hospital is 25 minutes away in South Hill, VA.

The position is full time, 4 days per week. Family medicine can be very challenging, and Dr. Bailey and our Advanced Practice Clinicians have always enjoyed a day off during the week to rest up and take care of all those mid-week things that are hard to accomplish working a 5 day position. We are open on Saturday mornings, and the 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians (currently one FNP and one PA) and Dr. Bailey rotate these.  The salary is competitive.
