This is a non-tenured-track appointment at The University of Texas Medical Branch School of Health Profession in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies with the rank of Assistant Professor depending on education, qualifications, and experience. Primary Responsibilities include teaching and participation in all aspects of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. The faculty will teach and mentor students throughout the didactic and clinical curriculum. Responsibilities also include conducting research and scholarly activity, advising students, serving on school and university committees, and handling administrative assignments. Qualifications: Physician Assistant candidates must be certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), graduated from an accredited physician assistant program and have a master's degree in a field related to physician assistant education.
