Expanding Health Care Systems seek to add several fulltime mid-level Hospitalists.  The position is open to PA's or NP's.  The new mid-level will work in many areas of the hospital, including the ICU and ER.  Responsibilities are the direct management of inpatients and in many cases performs most of the tasks once handled by the patients' primary care physicians.  Also, the PA/NP will oversee many aspects of a patients' hospital care:  process management, communications among other physicians involved in the patients' care, discharge planning, and patient/family communications, among others.  If desired, the new PA/NP can perform procedures.  Call is 1/7 weekends.  The position is 40 hours per week (Monday thru Friday from 9AM to 5PM).

Successful candidate should be certified.  There is a preference for an experienced PA/NP, but the group will train a new graduate if they have a strong desire for this specialty, are self motivated and have an excellent attitude!
